About Us
Completed in December 1999 for the Millennium, our hall is in a delightful setting on the edge of the village a few miles from Oxford and with good access from the M40/A40/A34.
It is suitable for parties, weddings, meetings, corporate away days, etc. The main hall can comfortably seat 120 people at tables, and the kitchen is comprehensively equipped. Outside there is ample parking, extensive grassed open space suitable for marquees and sports, and a children’s playground. We also offer free wifi from Gigaclear.

Kitchen Area
The main hall can comfortably seat 120 people; folding tables and chairs on wheeled racks are kept in the storage room off the hall.
The stage has speakers connected to an audio system with a remote microphone, and hirers can plug in their own sound system if they wish. There is a portable screen for presentations, and free fibre WiFi will handle any IT requirements.
A serving hatch provides direct access to the kitchen, and doors from the hall give access to the field.
The Main Hall

The kitchen is fully equipped with 2 ovens, a warmer unit, large fridge, urns, kettles and microwave. Glasses, crockery and cutlery are available in the pantry, although for large events the hirer will need to check that there is sufficient cutlery and crockery and, if necessary, arrange additional supplies. There is no dishwasher, mainly for fire risk implications of leaving an operating machine unattended.
For safety reasons, children must not use the kitchen, even if accompanied.
There is a fire blanket which is suitable for all fire situations in the kitchen, and a First Aid kit.
All portable electrical equipment in the hall is PAT tested. Hirers are responsible for any other equipment they bring into the hall.
Kitchen Area

Off the hall is a separate meeting room with capacity for 10-15 participants; it is often used as a private space in conjunction with the function in the main hall, or as performers’ dressing space with separate access to the stage.
Meeting Room
Toilets and Changing Rooms
Male, female and disabled toilets are situated in the lobby. In addition, behind the stage are male and female changing rooms each with hooks and benching suitable for sports teams, and with personal shower cubicles. These facilities are also useful for occasional weekend campouts. There is a separate external door for the changing rooms which can be used for sports hirers who may not need access to the rest of the building.
Store Room
This contains the folding tables and chairs.
Outdoor Area
There is up to date external power supply for marquees and other event equipment. Overnight camping for multi-day events can be arranged. Hirers can use the field for team games, informal play, and the children’s playground.
The village Tennis Club manages the tennis courts - Click here for membership enquiries.
